Week 11: A Destroys N

A and N brought their A-games this week, scoring over 130 points, but A takes home the hard-fought win in a 142-137 victory.

N - I sadly lost to the worst team in the league and to make it worse, my sister. Watching the games on Sunday, I thought there was no way I could lose, watching my players score touchdown after touchdown. Apparently, A was thinking the same thing. I scored 137 points this week, the third most in the league, but I still lost.

A - There are so many things to talk about this week, but first and foremost, DUBBBBBBBBB. What's better, it came at the best time: against my little brother. My success story began on Thursday night when Lamar Jackson scored 27 points and my kicker scored 9. Going into Sunday, I had three players score 20+ points, including Devin Singletary, Keenan Allen, and the Commanders D/ST. It seemed like everyone was scoring touchdowns when they needed to. Sunday night ended with Gabe Davis scoring 0 points; a harsh blow for my team in such a close match-up. When Monday Night Football rolled around, it was down to Travis Kelce against the Eagles. Not only did he pull through, scoring 15 points, but the Eagles secured a victory (GO BIRDS).

N - My MVP this week was DJ Moore, going for almost 100 yards and a touchdown. Hopefully, Justin Fields' return can continue to boost his fantasy production for the rest of the season, taking over the WR2 spot on my team. I want to give a shoutout to Amon-Ra St. Brown, who, once again, put up 20+ points. He continues to be the most consistent player on my team by far.

A - I have three MVPs this week: Lamar Jackson (27 points), Keenan Allen (27 points), and the Commanders defense (28 points). This was an insane week for all of them. I even had Brock Purdy on the bench with 34 points, but it did not matter too much this week. Jackson threw for 264 yards and 2 touchdowns, Allen had 116 yards and 1 touchdown, and the Commanders had 9 sacks. I knew my team had potential, and they came together at the most ideal time.

N - Next week I play my 5-4-1 uncle (yes, he exactly tied with someone) who I believe I can beat. His team's been hot, but he also has Kenneth Walker who may or may not be able to play this week. His absence could prove detrimental to his team's performance.

A - I play my grandpa next week. He is 4-6 and the last time I played him, I lost 109-125. His team does not look great, but it is usually dependent on how my team does.

We will be back next week (although nothing will ever beat the excitement of this week)!
