Week 10: Wins and (more) Losses

As week 10 wraps up, N brings home the win as A loses once again. This brings N's record to 4-5 and A's record to 1-8.

N - I scored a total of 157 points this week, my highest of the season. I had solid performances from everyone on my team and I was able to take down my cousin, despite Ceedee Lamb's 39-point game. I now have the same record as the best team in the league (go Broncos), so I have faith in my ability to make the playoffs in a few weeks.

A - I scored 132 points this week, which was enough to beat 7 of the 11 people in our family...just not who I was playing. This is a recurring theme for me. My players did relatively well and I pulled out a lot of points despite Travis Kelce having a bye and Brock Purdy being on my bench. Purdy outscored Lamar Jackson this week, 30-14, giving me something to think about for this upcoming week. I also have the same record as a team in the NFL: the Panthers! Neither one of us has a chance at making the playoffs, but we're here for a good time.

N - My MVP this week goes to Amon-Ra St. Brown, scoring 29 points with 156 yards and a touchdown. He has been the most consistent player on my team this year, with another solid performance this week. I do want to give a shoutout to a new addition to the team and a new starter, Tank Dell, with 18 points in his win over the Bengals.

A - Keenan Allen scored 40 points this week. I don't even know what to say. How does someone score 40 points and not win the match-up? Well, my opponent had Joe Burrow, Mike Evans, and Brian Robinson Jr., who all scored at least 25 points. Even if I had put Purdy in, I would have lost. At least it was fun to watch Allen and Purdy go crazy this week.

N - Next week I finally get to take on A, the team with the worst record in the league. My team should easily win this, but Fantasy Football is a crazy game. A win next week would really boost my playoff chances.

A - I think next week is going to be a great game. With Kelce coming in off a bye and N's QB sitting with a thumb injury, I'm feeling ready. I am most likely going to start Purdy, who is facing Tampa Bay this week. I would love to beat N, even just to decrease his playoff chances.

Thanks for tuning in, and come back next week for the result of our matchup!
