Week 6 Results: More Losses

A and N were both taken down this week. These were tough losses after both of our victories last week. A 109-125 loss for A brings her to 1-4 and a 114-131 loss for N brings him to 2-4.

A - This was a rough week. I took on my grandpa, the only person in the family with a worse record than me. I started out strong, with Travis Kelce scoring 21 points on Thursday against the Broncos (clearly due to Taylor Swift being in the stands). However, when my grandpa's kicker made 6 field goals for a total of 18 points, I knew it would be closer than I wanted it to be. His defense, the Ravens, also performed well, with 33 points. Something I did correctly this week was choose Lamar Jackson over Brock Purdy. The 49ers lost their first game this week thanks to the Cleveland Browns' defense, while Jackson played well against the Titans.

N - Although I lost, I don't think my team did that bad. I took a huge hit with injuries, having Anthony Richardson and Justin Fields. Along with that, Austin Ekeler had a bad game coming back from his injury. I expect him to be better for the rest of the year. I have a good feeling about a strong finish to the season and maybe a playoff appearance.

A - Travis Kelce and Keenan Allen, both with 21 points this week, are my MVPs. I have come to learn that Allen is very consistent, averaging 24.6 points per game. Kelce is getting better with every game, persevering through two injuries and a lot of media attention.

N - Amon-Ra St. Brown was my MVP this week, scoring 30 points. He's been very consistent this year, and I'm hoping he can continue that for the remainder of the year.

A - While I do not have high hopes for playoffs, I would still love to win at least a few more matchups. This week I am facing my cousin, who is 4-2. However, 4 of my players on my starting line-up have byes, so it is going to look a little different starting on Thursday night. Maybe these changes will improve my chances!

N - I will be without a good quarterback next week, which will definitely hurt. I'm playing my 5-0 cousin, who is leading the league in almost every category. His team is highlighted by Travis Etienne Jr. and Cooper Kupp, who will rival Austin Ekeler and Amon-Ra St. Brown.

We will be back next week!
