Week 4 Results: Crushing Defeats

Both A and N suffered close defeats this week, when they both needed a win to stay in the playoff hunt. A has decided to blame it on Travis Kelce's sub-par performance in comparison to last year.

N - My team lost by 9 to my grandpa, which is crushing because I scored 148 points but still lost. My team finally played really well, but I had to play against Josh Allen's 45-point game and Baltimore's defense scoring 33. He even had Pacheco, who had one of the greatest games of his young career. These players outshone Justin Field and DJ Moore's breakout games against my Broncos.

A - I lost by ONE POINT to my uncle this week. This is obviously very upsetting. I blame the loss on Travis Kelce and Keenan Allen, both scoring way less than expected. Brock Purdy put up a solid 23 points, while Lamar Jackson put up 31 points. I think this makes Jackson my top quarterback for the rest of the season. I decided to try out Tank Dell from the Houston Texans at wide receiver this week, and he played poorly. My uncle's team, with Stefon Diggs exceeding expectations, deservedly beat me.

N - As I previously stated, Justin Fields and DJ Moore finally played how I expected them to this year, scoring 36 and 27 respectively. They were my co-MVPs this week, despite the loss. Their performances gives me hope for the remainder of the year and their potential to get me back in the playoff race. Despite how well they played, they couldn't make up for Austin Ekeler's injury replacement and Zach Charbonet's terrible game of 4 points. My kicker couldn't even get it going, with Younghoe Koo only hitting one extra point all game.

A - My top player this week was Josh Jacobs. This running back scored 27 points: his best of the season. If only my players would have their best weeks at the same time...

N - I am playing my 2-2 cousin next week with the hope I can erase my current 2-game losing streak. I'm hoping Austin Ekeler can return, so I can return to dominating my family in fantasy. This matchup will be a very good one, with Fields and Moore competing with Barkley and Kamara.

A - I am facing my 2-1 cousin next week. I am hoping for my first victory of the season, but chances are, I will not be able to beat him either. His team is stacked with Davante Adams, Derrick Henry, David Montgomery, and Brandon Aiyuk. N and I will be back with our updates next week!
