Week 3 Results: Feeling Like the Broncos

Finally, A's losing streak has come to an end with a 161-point...bye week. N's game was hard-fought, ending in a 142-96 point loss to our dad. This brings N's record to 1-2 while A's remains at 0-2.

A - For starters, I would like to announce that the Eagles won this week (go birds), while the Broncos took a hefty beat down of 70-20 to the Dolphins. Amusingly, this game came right after N predicted that the Dolphins were the favorites to win the Super Bowl. N, are you okay after this horrible loss?

N - Nope. The only good thing that came out of this game is the hope that the Broncos might be able to draft Caleb Williams next year.

A - Now, to my Fantasy team. I did, in fact, score 161 points in my bye week. This is quite unfortunate because this would have beaten everyone (except whoever had any Dolphins' offensive players). Both Brock Purdy and Lamar Jackson had great weeks, with 25 and 29 points respectively. They are making it difficult to choose which one to play next week. Travis Kelce was back for good this week, scoring 19 points. I am hoping his good luck charm, Ms. Taylor Swift herself, will be back to watch him next week.

N - My team felt like the Broncos, losing by 46 to my dad. It seemed like everyone struggled badly, with Gibbs and Godwin both scoring less than 10 points. It didn't help that I played against the best team in the league, who had four different guys score 20+ points.

A - My player of the week was Keenan Allen, yet again. With 215 receiving yards and a touchdown, he scored a total of 46 points. Allen is proving to be an incredibly valuable part of this team. I would also like to give a shoutout to the consistent Evan McPherson, who made 4 major field goals to help beat the Rams and earn me 15 Fantasy points.

N - The only player that had more than his projection is Amon-Ra St. Brown, catching 9 passes for 102 yards. I could only watch in frustration as I watched him get stopped multiple times just before getting in the endzone.

A - Overall, I am ready for my matchup next week against my uncle. Featuring Justin Herbert, Stefon Diggs, and Kenneth Walker III, his team will be nothing next to mine, especially after my impressive week.

N - I'm playing one of the worst teams in the league next week, which could not come at a better time for my struggling team. His team is highlighted by Josh Allen and Calvin Ridley, so if they can be contained, I believe I am in for a win this week.

Overall, it was a pretty good week for fantasy players in general, shown by A's team scoring over 160 points. Both of us are ready for the rest of the season, although one of us has a much better team. Thanks for reading this week's blog, and stay tuned for next week's recap!
