Three Players That Will Exceed Their ADP

ADP, or Average Draft Position, is a number assigned to a player that shows an average of what pick he is being selected at. Here are three players that I believe will exceed their expectations and win fantasy leagues. I will be making more posts like this throughout the season, suggesting players that could be traded for mid-season.

1. Cooper Kupp

Rams Wide Receiver Cooper Kupp's ADP is sitting around 1.07, meaning the 7th pick in the 1st round. This puts him as the fourth-ranked wide receiver. This is disrespectful to his value, seeing that just two years ago he won the triple crown and was the number one ranked fantasy football player in PPR (points per reception). Last year, he was on pace to finish as a top 3 player again before his injury, averaging the most points per game (18.4). His injury shouldn't be a problem, and he is expected to be fully healthy before week 1 arrives. I will be picking him as early as the fourth pick in this year's fantasy football draft.

2. Rhamondre Stevenson

Patriots Runningback Rhamondre Stevenson's ADP is around 28, meaning the third round for most leagues. This puts him around the 11th-ranked running back. I cannot imagine 10 running backs that could be better than Rhamondre Stevenson this year. He was one of the most consistent and successful running backs last year, posting 12+ PPR points 10 times in a row and 12 times total. He comes with a very high receiving ceiling, getting a total of 88 targets last year. These stats were with Damien Harris in last year's backfield, who left New England this past offseason. Now, Stevenson should be reeling in the 100+ rushes that were taken by Harris last year. I'm drafting Stevenson as early as pick 20, 8 less than his ADP.

3. Tua Tagovailoa

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa is ranked around 11th in QBs this year for fantasy. Like Rhamondre Stevenson, I don't believe that 6 or 7 quarterbacks that could be better than Tagovailoa this year. Last year, if the games where he got injured (weeks 3, 4, and 16) were removed from his game log, he would have averaged just over 21 points per game, which is ranked 5th in quarterbacks last year. He and his teammate, Jaylen Waddle, are still improving greatly, as is the chemistry between them. Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill, the main receivers on the Dolphins, are some of the most explosive players in the NFL. This will lead to massive fantasy games from Tua, as seen last year when he put up 40.9 points in week 2. Tagovailoa's injury history may be scary, but if he can stay healthy, I see him finishing the season as a top 5 Fantasy Football Quarterback.
